Let me introduce you to the amazing world of fused glass! I think of fused glass as science meets creativity!

As I only have a small studio I cannot use a conventional kiln so I create using microwave kilns, special pieces of kit that absorb microwaves and allow the glass to be heated to the dizzy heights it requires to become molten. 
But these kilns have limitations in size, but it pushes my creativity.

These photos shows the cut and arranged glass prior to firing and a quick glimpse of the glass during the firing process, as well as the finished piece!
