You might be wondering about my shop name – Vermont52. It’s a bit of an unusual choice for someone based in a small seaside town in the UK, isn’t it? But there’s a story behind it, and it’s one that’s close to my heart.

I absolutely love Christmas. Not just the decorations or the presents, but the feeling of it all – that sense of magic, community, kindness, and connection that seems to wrap around everything during the festive season. There’s something about Christmas that brings out the best in people, and I wanted to capture that warmth and wonder in my work all year round.

If you’ve ever found yourself curled up watching Christmas films (guilty as charged!), you might know about Channel 52 – the Christmas channel that fills your screen with cosy, heartwarming stories. So many of those films are set in idyllic places like Vermont – think snow-dusted woodland towns, twinkling lights, close-knit communities, and that beautiful connection to nature. There’s always a general store, a town square, people who genuinely care about each other, and a sense that magic is just around the corner.

That’s the feeling I want to bring to every piece I create. Whether it’s a fox nestled among autumn leaves, a robin on a snowy branch, or a whimsical seagull with a cheeky grin, each sculpture is made with that same spirit of warmth, wonder, and connection to the natural world.

So Vermont52 isn’t just a name – it’s a reminder that we can carry that Christmas magic with us all year long. It’s about kindness, community, nature, and creating little moments of joy that make life feel a bit more enchanting.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. I hope my creations bring a little bit of that Vermont magic into your home, wherever you are.
