Woodworking has always been in my blood. There’s something grounding about taking a piece of timber—natural, unpredictable, imperfect—and slowly shaping it into something beautiful and lasting. But it wasn’t until six years ago, after going through a breakdown, that I truly discovered how much I needed it.

During that difficult time, the only place I felt fully present—the only place the noise seemed to quiet—was in my shed.

No pressure. No expectations. Just me, my tools, and the gentle rhythm of making.

Over time, that simple act of creating gave me a way back to myself. A way to focus, reset, and breathe again. What started as a quiet form of therapy gradually became a passion. Then a habit. And eventually, a small venture I now proudly call The Humble Woodshed.

What I Make

From my two garden sheds on the outskirts of Gloucester, I handcraft wooden and resin pieces that celebrate natural beauty, honest materials, and simple design.

I make:

  • Wall and mantle clocks with resin accents

  • River coffee tables and side tables

  • Tealight holders and vases

  • Bookends, chopping boards, and more

Each item is unique—made slowly, thoughtfully, and by hand. I particularly love combining timber with coloured resin to create contrast and depth. The goal isn’t perfection. It’s character.

A Small Setup with a Big Story

I don’t run a factory or a production line. I work from two modest sheds, which means I can’t make enormous pieces—but I can make things for almost any room in a house or office. From playful décor to thoughtful gifts, everything is made with care and intention.

The Humble Woodshed isn’t just a name—it’s a nod to the place that brought me peace when I needed it most, and to the kind of work I believe in: honest, hands-on, and heartfelt.
